  • Stories from the Mohawk Valley” presented by Bob Cudmore at 6:30 pm at the Broadalbin Library on Main Street.

Jun 5 (Tues)

  • Squeeze Play Accordion Band — Outdoor Concert/Rehearsal at Voorheesville Gazebo from 6:30 to 8:30 pm (Tuesdays through Labor Day)

Jun 6 (Wed)

  • The man Who Invented Christmas — Reels at the Main Branch of Sch’dy County Public Library at Noon
  • Citizen Science “Frog Watch Training” from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center at 195 New Karner Road, Colonie.
  • Moriah Formica with Margo Macero performing at Rockin’ on the River at Riverfront Park in Troy from 5 to 8:30 pm

Jun 7 (Thurs)

  • 17th Annual Burnt Hills Ballston Lake community Parade at 7 pm – opening ceremonies at Burnt Hills Methodist Church on Saratoga Road.
  • Colleen Pratt and Friends – Jazz on Jay (Pedestrian-way) from noon to 1:30 pm. Rain location, Robb Alley in Proctors.
  • The Niskayuna Middle School Jazz Ensemble and Stage Band – Niskayuna’s Summer Concert Series at 7 pm at Town Hall Gazebo. Bring a picnic and lawn chairs to enjoy these hour long concerts.
  • Joe Mansman and the Midnight Revival Band with Great White appearing at Alive at Five from 5-8 pm at the Corning Preserve Boat Launch in Albany.
  • Classic Rock Night with Great White – Alive at Five – Jennings Landing at the Corning Preserve in Albany from 5-8 pm – Rain site is the Corning Boat launch

Jun 8 (Fri)

  • Citizen Science: Pine Bush Big Birding Day from 6 pm to Sat. 8 pm. Teams will register and bird together for 24 hours from 7 pm Friday to 7 pm Sat. Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center in Colonie.

Jun 9 (Sat)

  • Change Your Mind Day (Exploring Mind and Body) from 1-6 pm at the Albany UU at 405 Washington Ave, Albany. Many workshops, presentations and learning.

Jun 10 (Sun)

  • Sch’dy Greenmarket 10-2 pm around City Hall

  • Beginning June 3 — Every Sunday night until further notice: Free Jazz Series at Van Slykes in the Rivers Casino from 5 pm to 8 pm
  • Through June 2018 – Special Exhibit Room at the American Italian Heritage Museum “Gifts from our Grandfather”. Julius Pardi collection.
  • Through July 2018 — Exhibition of Street photographs by Dave Tyson & Nicholas Amplo on Protest in the 60s-70s at Hamilton Hill Arts Center, Jerry Burrell Gallery at 209 Schenectady St., Sch’dy.  1-6 pm Weekdays

Regular guests include Representatives from the Animal Protective Foundation; faculty from the various area institutions of higher learning discussing health and community issues; Representatives from City, County and State agencies; actors and directors from the theREP, Proctors Theatre, Circle Theatre Players at Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Schenectady Civic Players, Schenectady Light Opera, Albany Civic Players, Classic Theater Guild, and many other area theatrical groups; Tax Specialists from the Internal Revenue Service (during tax season); Representatives from Schenectady County Library; area museums including miSci & ESAM and many area non-profit organizations. We also try to highlight local artists and musicians whenever possible.
