  • Vietnamese Music Concert at 8 pm at the Event Center at the River’s Casino and Resort. Includes English, Modern and Chinese Music. Rush Rewards members get free tickets.
  • Schenectady County Fall Foliage Festival at the Mabee Farm. 11 am to 4 pm. Hay rides, music, craft fair, exhibitions and more.
  • Schenectady Greenmarket around City Hall from 10 am to 2 pm Through October

  • Free Music and Dance Showcase a 7:30 pm at the Center for the Performing Arts at the Egg. Great performers scheduled.

  • Musicians of Ma’alwyck perform at noon at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Troy.
  • Rambling Drifters Performing on the Schenectady Today Show Stage at 10 am — The ADDY Theater at Proctors – 3rd floor

Oct 18 (Thurs)

  • Science Lecture Series: Biological soil crusts in the Northeaset – they’re not just for deserts anymore! 7 pm at the Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center on New Karner Road.
  • Musicians of Ma’alwyck will perform “Good Musicians, Good Soldiers” at 6:30 pm in the McChesney Room at the Sch’dy County Public Library

Oct 19 (Fri)

  • Mongolian Music and Dance presented by the troupe from Inner Mongolia Arts University at Troy Savings Bank Music Hall at 30 Second St. Troy, NY 7:30 to 9 pm.

Oct 20 (Sat)

  • Pine Bush GPS Adventure – ages 6-10 with caregivers. Search for hidden objects using GPS unit. Hiking about 1 mi on the trail. Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center on New Karner Road.

Oct 21 (Sun)

  • Discover the Pine Bush at 1 pm. All ages. Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center on New Karner Road
  • German Fest in Scotia at Our Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church on South Reynolds from 11:30 to 3:30 pm

We also try to highlight local artists and musicians whenever possible.
