Silent Jane Salvage – The Artist

Janene Bouck, Artist

From the Artist:  I create Silent Photography, beautiful or interesting images using a digital photographic practice. I oftentimes embellish the photos with salvaged items. I enjoy nature and incorporate natural elements such as found items, images of wildlife, and landscapes in my art.
I also provide photographic restoration services. Along with my artwork, my studio, Silent Jane Salvage, digitally repairs, embellishes or manipulates my customer’s images to create reproductions of historical images. Additionally, I produce color correction, complete the removal of people or backgrounds, and repair the typical historic photographic maladies of fading, extensive cracking and other damage. I resource printing on paper, glass, ceramic, canvas, and nearly any other substrate my customers can dream of.

SALVAGE incorporates regional photography with salvaged material from the Adirondack, Sacandaga & Mohawk Valley Regions. It addresses the artist’s perception of Fulton County; the connections between environment, commerce, education, & social unity. Saratoga Arts made this possible with an Individual Artist Grant funded by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo & the New York State Legislature.
